Michel Balcaen
Chairman and co-founder

Michel has graduated from Sciences-Po Paris, France (1981). He started his career as Sales at Bull, to move on with software publishers (Easel France, Nat Systems Belgium) at a Management and Executive level. In 1997, he co-founds WizArt with Eric Duneau and Frederic Senegas, and acts as Chairman and CEO. In 2002, he also co-founds Assima with Eric Duneau. His financial acumen helped Assima's rapid growth thanks to well targeted acquisitions, and a visionary financial strategy for the company. 

Eric Duneau
CEO and co-founder

Eric has graduated from ISIM (1992), Montpellier, France, as a Software Engineer, and also holds a M. Sc. in Artificial Intelligence (1992), Kingston University, UK. He starts his career with Nat Systems where he meets Michel Balcaen. In 1997, he co-founds WizArt and holds various positions throughout the life of the company in R&D, support & consulting, sales, alliance, and key positions at Management and Executive levels. He then co-founds Assima in 2002 with Michel Balcaen, and is mostly responsible for the product and operations strategy of the company.

Anthony Coates
Executive Director

Tony has exercised various functions at Dun & Bradstreet over 18 years, ranging from Data Collection, Publishing, Marketing and Product Development, Global Relationship Manager for the SAP Strategic Alliance, and Managing Director of an Information Integration start-up. He also has extensive experience in Data Warehousing and integrating solutions with software publishers such as SAP, Oracle and SAS Institute. Tony Join ed DACG in 2001 becoming a Managing Director with a primary focus on the European sales network. After Assima's acquisition of DACG in 2005, he joined Assima's Board of Directors.
