How does it work?
This unique technology makes it possible to separate the localization process from the development cycle, and to use one single localization environment, regardless of the architecture or the tools used to build the application. WizTom modifies at run time the labels displayed by any GUI component (or printed report) of your application.
Web-based applications
- WizTom Web Proxy Server may be installed on a separate server or on the same machine as the origin Web server.
- It will intercept and modify the HTTP/HTTPS stream generated by the web server before it is displayed on the client browser.
By modifying the HTTP stream, it will modify the screen displayed on the Client
Windows-based applications
- WizTom Runtime is installed on the end-user’s machine, to intercept and translate strings and messages on the fly just before display. The application screen is displayed by a Windows process, using Windows Graphical APIs intercepted and modify at run time.
By intercepting the Windows graphic APIs, and replacing texts by translations, the application screen will be translated!
